Avit recently opened its doors for something quite special. For one day, Avit’s premises in Vianen were transformed into a training ground for young “Cyber Agents”. In collaboration with HackShield Future Cyber Heroes, employees and their children took part in an interactive event focused on digital safety, learning and fun.

While our industry often focuses on cyber threats, AI and emerging technologies, initiatives like HackShield remind us of something even more fundamental: building digital resilience starts with education. At Springboard Network, we’re proud to see our local labels not only driving innovation in technology—but also making a meaningful impact on the next generation.

Through engaging missions and challenges, children between the ages of 7 and 13 explored topics like phishing, privacy and online behaviour – developing the skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex digital world.

As part of the experience, they didn’t just learn – they competed, collaborated and showcased impressive curiosity and talent, proving that the next generation of cyber professionals is already in the making. HackShield itself is a fast-growing European initiative that has already empowered hundreds of thousands of children to become safer, smarter digital citizens through gamified learning and real-world collaboration.

By bringing this initiative to life at their own office – and extending it through partnerships with schools and local communities -Avit demonstrates how technology companies can play a direct role in shaping a safer digital society.
